Wedding Ceremony in Vegas

Are you planning a Las Vegas wedding or a wedding vow renewal ceremony? How long will the wedding ceremony last? Will you need to spend hours in the chapel? Does it require an all-day event for a vow renewal? The Little Vegas Chapel is here to help answer these popular questions when it comes to Las Vegas wedding planning.

How Long is a Wedding Ceremony?

A wedding ceremony is a relatively short amount of time, usually averaging about 7-10 minutes. However, the rest of the wedding is where most of the time is spent, such as spending 30 minutes on pictures. We do find that most couples will spend about an hour or less getting married or renewing their vows and this includes all the pictures, vow ceremony, and travel to and from the hotel. We even have a custom 1968 & 1970 Pink Cadillac like Elvis used to cruise around in and can pick you up from your hotel and cruise the strip!

Do I Need a Marriage License?

If you are getting married for the first time, you will need a wedding license. If you are already married, you will receive a vow renewal ceremony. A vow renewal doesn’t replace your original wedding certificate, it is a ceremony for the couple to remind one another of their love and commitment and to just have fun! Couples are encouraged to make a reservation, however as long as there is space in the schedule, couples hoping for same-day vow renewals can often walk-in and book their ceremony in minutes.

I Don’t Live in the United States, Do I Need a Wedding Certificate?

When you are legally married, you are married everywhere. If you are already married with a valid license, you do not need to head to Clark County Marriage License Bureau for another one. Couples that are already married and traveling from other countries will be able to enjoy the same vow renewal ceremonies as other currently-married couples.

Location Weddings in Las Vegas

If you have always wanted to get married in Las Vegas, but you want it to be outside, it’s a great idea to consider our off-site wedding options. You can hold your wedding ceremony or vow renewal in front of the popular Las Vegas sign or we can even travel to the Valley of Fire where you can get married in the middle of nature surrounded by the beautiful red rocks. Location-based weddings are a great way to give your wedding some extra touch if you want it to be different.
